Configure markings for cables

Welcome to our configurator, with which you can easily create your own individual markers for cables. Here you have the option of selecting markers from different series and customizing them to your specifications in terms of both text and colour. Please note that the configurator is currently only available in German.

Your configuration is initially used to create a non-binding offer. If an order is placed, you will of course receive the required cable markers from us ready-made and ready for immediate use.

The "Markierer bearbeiten"screen appears with an image of the "Muster" text you have entered, which you replace with your text during the editing process. You can enter as many markers as you need and change, duplicate or delete them later.

Selection of the series

Click in the pull-down selection field and select the desired series 1980 or 0081. After selecting the series, the pull-down menus below will change if necessary.
When configuring another marker, you can then redefine the series again.

Substrate and color

Click in the pull-down selection fields for backing material (Trägermaterial) and/or base/font color (Grund-/Schriftfarbe). Depending on which series you have selected, corresponding pull-down menus for backing material and/or standard color are available, which you can change in a later step.

Text input

Most letters are only available in capital letters, but depending on the series, characters such as the capital "E" or the lowercase "e" are also available. You cannot enter characters that are not available. The system blocks the input.

Combine different colors

After entering your text, you can give each individual letter a different color depending on availability within the series. To do this, click on the "ja" button below the text you have entered.

The 0081 series offers signs with a yellow or white background with black lettering, while the 1980 series offers signs with a yellow or white background with black lettering and a red background with white lettering. In this menu you can also change or delete characters or insert forgotten characters.

Number of markers for cables with the same text

In many cases, customers require more than one marking for cables with the same text. You can therefore tell us the number of pieces you require at the end of the first entry.

Save input

Once you have entered everything you need for this cable marker, click on "sichern und zurück zur Übersicht". You will then be taken to the page on which this cable marker and, if applicable, all previously created cable markers are clearly displayed.

Your basket for your request

Here you can see all the cable markers already set for your request and correct the quantities. If you move the mouse over one of the cable markers, you can edit the selected one, clone it to quickly create a similar one or delete it. Or you can simply add another cable marker by clicking on "Markierer hinzufügen".

Have you already created a document?

Many of our customers enter their required markings with the serial number and the respective quantities in an Excel spreadsheet or a Word document, for example, as shown in our example image. You too? Then send us your document by e-mail. You don’t have to use our configurator! Its main purpose is to give our new customers an impression of the markings they require.

You can also download the Excel spreadsheet we have created for your inquiry and enter the texts, serial numbers, versions and your texts for the cable markings in it.
